For patients whose physician has ordered therapeutic phlebotomy. The nurse follows the volume and frequency on your order and monitors you throughout the procedure.

How to prepare

A current physician order is required.
Eat a light meal and drink plenty of fluids beforehand.
Plan to rest for a while after the procedure.
